YOUNG FORUM AT 2015 CONFERENCE TO FOCUS ON TRANSDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES TO INNOVATION
Day 1 of this year’s 23rd IFSCC Conference, More Facts, Less Illusions (21-23 September in Switzerland) features an exciting Young Forum: Innovations made in Switzerland, highlighting how young scientists and entrepreneurs use transdisciplinary approaches to reach innovation in cosmetics, hosted by the Inartis Network and ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Life Sciences and Facility Management). Read more and register here.

US SCC ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING PROMOTES IFSCC
The 69th SCC Annual Scientific Meeting and Technology Showcase welcomed over 900 delegates including our President Claudie Willemin who was there to promote the IFSCC 2015 Conference in Zurich, Switzerland and IFSCC 2016 Congress in Orlando, USA. Read more

SPCC HOSTS SUCCESSFUL 2ND HAIR SYMPOSIUM AND PLANS 5TH DERMATOCOSMETIC EVENT
The Portuguese Society of Cosmetological Sciences (SPCC) in collaboration with the Brazilian Association of Cosmetology (ABC) welcomed IFSCC sponsored speaker Dr Bruno Bérnard (Research Fellow, L’Oréal) at its recent event. Read more

SFC COSMETAGORA FORMULATION COMPETITION INSPIRES SUPPLIER INNOVATION 
This year’s French Society of Cosmetology (SFC) Cosmetagora event attracted a growing number of cosmetic formulation and marketing experts. The second formulation competition inspiring innovation was a highlight. Read more

UK AND SOUTH AFRICAN SOCIETIES CELEBRATE CLASS OF 2014 DIPLOMA GRADUATES 
Both the UK’s SCS (more here) and South Africa’s Coschem (more here) have honoured successful students from their courses at recent diploma ceremonies celebrating young cosmetic industry talent. Congratulations everyone!

GERMANY’S DGK/IKW CONTINUE TO PUT FOCUS ON SAFETY
